This is regular olive oil which represents the Holy Spirit and a special coloring to make it look red thus we call it "The Blood of Jesus Anointing Oil." There is no virtue or healing in this oil, it is a point-of-contact and an act-of-faith. Why We Believe in the Blood of Jesus: The Word of God places the utmost importance upon the blood of Christ, ascribing to it the highest priority. Here are 11 scriptural facts regarding the priceless blood: 1. IT WAS INNOCENT BLOOD. Judas said, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." (Matthew 27:4) 2. IT WAS UNTAINTED BLOOD. "But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Peter 1:19) 3. IT WAS SHED BLOOD. Jesus said, "For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (Matthew 26:28) 4. IT WAS BLOOD GIVEN WILLINGLY. Jesus said, "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. (John 10:18) 5. IT WAS ACCEPTABLE BLOOD. "Whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness..." (Romans 3:25) 6. IT WAS NECESSARY BLOOD."And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission." (Heb. 9:22) 7. IT WAS PRECIOUS BLOOD. "...The precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." (1 Peter 1:19) 8. IT WAS REDEEMING BLOOD. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace...." (Eph. 1:7) 9. IT WAS RECONCILING BLOOD. "..And By Him to Reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of the cross." (Col. 1:20) 10. IT WAS CLEANSING AND PURIFYING BLOOD. "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin!" (1 John 1:7) 11. IT WAS SANCTIFYING BLOOD.
